Gangi Germicidal Systems
Founder Rob Gangi started out as an electrician in the family business, managing it for 20 years prior to creating Lindo.
Launched Gangi Germicidal Systems
Gangi Germicidal Systems (GGS) is launched and harnesses the power of UVGI to create customised disinfection lighting systems.
Installed first Lindo Chamber
The Lindo Chamber is produced as the world’s first rapid disinfection system for patient stretchers in emergency transport vehicles and aircrafts.
Rebranded GGS to Lindo
GGS rebrands to Lindo and sets a vision to create healthier, safer and more sustainable environments to reduce the spread of disease and increase productivity.
Conceived Lindo Tube
Lindo developed a concept to significantly reduce the incidence of ventilator-associated pneumonia with the Lindo Tube.
Disinfected aircraft cabin
Lindo retrofits aBL technology into existing lighting in emergency transport aircraft to automatically, and safely, disinfect the cabin, improving health and safety of environment.
Launched Lindo Mobile
The Lindo Mobile is created as a portable air disinfection device for RORO on various platforms or spaces to sanitise enclosed spaces and reduce the spread of pathogens.
Unveiled the Hudson Bioelectric Bandage prototype
Lindo developed the Hudson Bioelectric Bandage prototype as localised infection control to stabilise defence personnel in the field and mitigate risks as part of a Prolonged Field Care System (PCFS).
Collaboration with global leader
Lindo and Mayo Clinic establish know-how license agreement to continue developing the Lindo Tube, a groundbreaking endotracheal tube embedded with aBL technology, intended to significantly reduce instances of VAP.
Partnership with global aerospace leader
Airbus engaged Lindo to explore how the disinfection power of aBL technology could deliver stronger health, safety and wellbeing outcomes for aircraft operators and passengers.
