Lindo has been named Outstanding Start-Up at the 2024 Endeavour Awards, Australia’s premier manufacturing industry event, for its breakthrough medical device, Lindo Tube.
Developed with the Mayo Clinic, Lindo Tube integrates antimicrobial blue light (aBL) into an endotracheal tube to help prevent ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) — one of the most serious infections in critical care. The device delivers continuous, occupant-safe disinfection without adding complexity for clinicians.
“This recognition affirms our strategy to combine cutting-edge science, rigorous engineering and strong partnerships to deliver sustainable technologies with global impact,” said Robert Gangi, Founder and Director of Lindo.
The award highlights Lindo’s rapid progress from concept in 2022 to an award-winning, innovation. Alongside Lindo Tube, the company is advancing the Lindo Chamber — a rapid disinfection system for high-touch medical equipment — and next-generation surface and air disinfection solutions for healthcare, aged care, transport and critical facilities.
The Endeavour Awards recognise excellence in Australian manufacturing, from innovation and sustainability to leadership. This win reinforces Lindo’s position as a leader in lighting-based disinfection and sustainable technologies that protect people and reduce healthcare costs.
